Happy Homeownership Month!

In celebration, the Maryland Mortgage Program is pleased to announce that the loan limit for Maryland SmartBuy (student debt forgivable Promissory Note financing) has been increased to $25,000 effective June 1, 2026, to mark the start of the Homeownership Month, 2026. This enhancement applies only to SmartBuy reservations dated on and after the posting of this Directive.
